All the people you see in a presidential or governorship rally all have different agenda and purposes for coming. Below are types of people you see on a campaign rally:

1. THE PHONE SNAPPERS:
These people will take their time prior to the time for the rally and charge their phones, delete some pictures to make space for the pictures they will snap that day when Mr President or another flag bearer will come for campaign. They also dont forget to go with extra batteries.

2. THE SUPPORTERS:
These are the people going there to support the person coming, they really love the person who is coming and will make sure they make noise in support of the person. They are the noise makers in a rally.

3. THE HATERS:
These ones are just going there to critisize and check the crowd. If the crowd turns out to be very big, he or she will either go back due to anger or start saying...its not everybody will vote o!

4. THE CENSUS COUNTERS:
These ones, the only reason why they go there is just to see crowd and compare it with that of the last rally. He or she may or may not be a supporter of that party but just to see people and have a story to tell to those who couldnt come. These type of people always add oil and salt to what happens during the rally.

5. These group on number 5 doesnt have a name. They are going there to see the President or the person doing the campaign for live because they havent seen the person before live. These type of people will be struggling to make sure they are in the front so that he or she wont miss seeing the person or see how the person talks. Such people usually faint due to pressure when trying to squeeze themselves into the crowd.

6. THE LESS CONCERNED TYPES:
These type is not going there because he or she supports or hates the person coming. He or she is just going there because he or she has nothing doing at home or in the office, so just to go and see what they are doing there.

7. THE PICKING-POCKETS:
These types are coming for business. Some of them dont even know the party or the name of the person coming, his or her concern is for people to turn out so that it will be easy for him or her to do his business.

I dont know if there are others...maybe you can add.

The Cameroon government announced Tuesday that their military had killed 143 members of Islamic extremist group Boko Haram after the militants had attacked a Cameroonian military camp in Kolofata.

The militant group, who was recently responsible for the death of hundreds of unarmed citizens and the burning 10-20 Nigerian villages, has terrorized northeastern Nigeria for the past five years in an attempt to establish an Islamic Caliphate.

If you're dating a beautiful woman, it
probably comes as no surprise that she's
drawing the attention of a large number of
guys as you pass by together. As
complimentary as it may be, it's natural to
feel uncomfortable and perhaps a little
peeved that several guys are ogling her
everywhere you go. Before
you blow a fuse, handle the situation with
care and learn how to deal with guys who
have their eye on your girlfriend.

STEP 1
Laugh it off . Take their attention for what it
is a
compliment and be happy that you’ve got a
great
woman by your side. When you notice some
guy making
googly eyes at your girlfriend, show him and
your sweetie
that a little innocent competition doesn’t
bother you. Give
the guy a little eye contact to show him you
see him
looking and keep moving.

STEP 2
Stay close. When you’re walking around in
the mall or at
a special event, don’t make the mistake of
walking so far
away from your girlfriend that she looks like
she’s single.
Stay close by so other guys know she's not
single.

STEP 3
Show affection. Give your onlookers a little
show.
Practice a little PDA (public display of
affection) when
you’ve got a few guys looking your way. A
kiss or an
embrace will be just enough for the nosy guys
to only
wish they had what you’ve got. Be honest
with your
girlfriend though, and let her know what's
going on to
maintain trust in your relationship.

STEP 4
Ask your girlfriend to chime in. If the looks
become a
problem, ask her to pipe in with a word or
two. She can
whisper to her fans that she’s taken or point
to you and
mention, “I love this guy.” The looks are
playful and
shouldn’t threaten your relationship. Have
fun with all the
attention and feel lucky that she’s drawing
the interest.

STEP 5
Enjoy it. As long as you have confidence in
your
relationship and you feel a solid connection,
there
shouldn’t be anything to worry about. Enjoy
the extra
attention and be proud that you're dating a
beautiful girl.
Don’t allow the attention she attracts to
destroy your
sense of security in your relationship.

The Mbaise People of Imo State
The Mbaise people are found in Imo state part of Nigeria and they occupy three local government areas in Imo State (Aboh Mbaise, Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte Mbaise). The major cities of Mbaise people are Ezi na ihite, Ahiara. Agbaaja, Oke Uvuru. The Mbaise people are known for their quest for higher education, hence the large numbers of graduates and professionals amongst them. The Mbaise culture is amongst the most expensive cultures to marry from in Nigeria because of the numerous components that make up their traditional marriage list. As a matter of fact, the more educated the bride is, the more expensive the marriage list becomes.

The Ngwa People of Abia State
The Ngwa people are found in Abia state of Nigeria and they constitute the largest and most populous sub – ethnicity or clan in the whole of the south – eastern part of Nigeria. Anyone man who seeks to marry an Ngwa lady must be ready to fulfill all that is listed in the traditional marriage list. The culture of the Ngwa people is said to be amongst the most expensive cultures to marry from in Nigeria because of the many things the groom is expected to do for the bride’s family and for the entire community where the bride hails from.

The Nkpa People of Abia State
The Nkpa people of Abia state are found in Bende local government of Abia state. Marrying an Nkpa lady is truly expensive especially if you are not from Nkpa. The list for the traditional marriage rite is designed in such a way that it is cheaper for and Nkpa man that is getting married to an Nkpa lady; but if a man who is not from Nkpa is seeking for the hands of an Nkpa lady, he must be ready to organize a marriage ceremony that accommodates the entire community, and also must buy gifts not only for the parents of the bride, but also for all the kinsmen (Umu nna) and their daughters (Umu Ada). The truth is that by the time the groom is done fulfilling the list, he would have spent well over seven hundred thousand naira.

The Mbano People of Imo State
Mbano is a community that is located in the Southeastern part of Nigeria and they are part of the Igbo people of Nigeria. Just like the Mbaise people of Imo State, the traditional marriage list of the Mbano people is said to be expensive. Although the groom must fulfill all that is listed in the marriage list, and in some cases, if the groom is wealthy, he might even be required to build a house for the bride’s parents as part of the marriage requirements.

The Ngwo People of Enugu State
Most of the people and culture in Enugu state seems to be very moderate when it comes to traditional marriage list for their daughters, but the Ngwo people tends to stand out of the pack. The Ngwo culture requires that any man that wants to marry their daughter must be willing to prove that he can take care of their daughter by first meeting their requirements which often is expensive. If you compare the traditional marriage list of the Ngwo people to other cultures in Enugu state, you come to the conclusion that indeed it is one of the most expensive cultures to marry from in Nigeria.

The Ikwere People of Rivers State
The Ikwere people are found in Rivers State and they are generally considered to be Igbo people because of the similarities in both their language and culture of the Igbo people. Just like the Mbaise people, when you sum up all that are required before you can take a bride from Ikwere land, you would realize that it is in excess of one million naira, hence it is amongst the most expensive cultures to marry from in Nigeria.

The Ogoja People of Cross Rivers State
The Ogoja people are found in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State. The major communities in Ogoja are Ekpogrinya,, Nwang, Esham, Nnang, Egbong, Ewinimba and Banasara. Marrying an Ogoja lady is expensive because of all that is required for the groom to fulfill before the bride can be handed over to him.

The Efik People of Cross Rivers State
The Efik people have a rich culture and marriage is not left out. Much more than meeting the expensive traditional marriage list, a groom is expected to organize a carnival like event for the traditional marriage especially if he is getting married to the daughter of an influential person in the town.

The Ibibio People of Akwa Ibom State
The Ibibio people are found in Akwa Ibom state and they are known to be hardworking people especially when it comes to the Agricultural sector. The requirements from any man who wants to take an Ibibio woman is a wife can be said to be expensive because of the numerous components that makes up the list.

The Annang People of Akwa Ibom State
The Annang people are found in Akwa Ibom state and they are the second largest ethnic group in Akwa Ibom state. Any groom who intends taking a bride from the Annang people must be ready to meet fulfill the traditional marriage rites of the people and it is indeed expensive because of the loads of stuff and fees that the groom is expected buy and pay for.

There you have it 10 most expensive cultures to marry from in Nigeria. Whilst some who have found themselves the best brides in these places would pay come what may, yet others opt out as a result of the high bride list.

Afusat Jimoh’s life changed seven years ago after she fell into boiling oil.At the time, she was helping an aunt living in the Ejigbo area of Lagos State to fry some pieces of meat when she suddenly had epileptic convulsion and fell into the sizzling oil.

While battling with the burns she sustained in the incident, her six-month-old child fell ill and died, followed by the death of her husband.

Punch Metro learnt that after many years of trying to find solutions to her woes, her mother also abandoned her and fled.

The Lagos State Government, which promised to foot the bills for a face-lift surgery, was said to have defaulted on its pledge. It was learnt that Afusat now begs for alms in order to raise funds for her surgery.

Punch Metro visited Ijeshatedo Street in the Surulere area of Lagos, where the Kwara State indigene resides with an uncle, Abdullahi Ayinla. She had a veil on her body with which she covered her injuries.

She said,
“I was helping my aunt to fry some pieces of meats. There was nobody at home that day and I didn’t know when I felt dizzy and unconsciously fell into the hot oil that I was using to fry the meat.“People came late to my rescue, by which time the oil had damaged my face, arm and neck.”
Afusat said she was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she spent four months before being transferred to the Burns Unit of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja. While the hospital doctors were battling to restore her health, her baby, Fatai, died.

She said,
“My child died because I could not breastfeed him. After his death, my husband was no longer coming to the hospital to check on me and that gave me some concerns. After several months, we decided to look for him at their family house. I was told that he had died and his family did not want to compound my woes, which was why they left me in the dark.
“Right now, I also don’t know where my mother is. She has left me for years and I have lost all contacts with her. The only person I have around me now is my uncle and my old father who visits once in a while.
‘’I was selling ready-made clothes, but people were afraid of patronising me because of my looks. This was why I started begging to complement the little my uncle provides.’’
It was learnt that the family’s efforts to raise funds for her to undergo a surgery, had not yielded any result.

A document, purportedly issued by an Indian medical facility in Mumbai, Wockhardt Hospitals, dated July 2012, showed that the cost of the surgery was N3m, excluding her cost of travel.

A non-governmental organisation, Dot Human Development, was said to have written the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, requesting support for the victim.

The state’s Ministry of Health, in another letter by the then Permanent Secretary, Dr. Femi Olugbile, directed LASUTH management to do the surgery free of charge.

The letter, dated April 2013, reads in part,
“Afusat accidentally fell into boiling oil during an epileptic attack six years ago. She sustained a third degree burns to the face that healed with scarring and disfigurement of the face.
“Following a request, she was referred to LASUTH for assessment and recommendation. The plastic surgeon and the Ophthalmologist both confirmed that the corrective surgery can be done in LASUTH.
“In view of the above, you are kindly requested to carry out the surgery on the victim on compassionate ground. Please forward the details of cost of management to the Ministry of Health for consideration.”
A reaction to the letter, dated July, 2013, however, said,
“The initial procedure in this patient will involve the insertion of tissues which will be procured from outside sources.”
The victim’s uncle, Ayinla, said the LASUTH doctors explained to the family that they needed funds from the state government to procure the tissue and without it, they would not be able to do anything.
“We started going to the state secretariat to see how they will give the LASUTH doctors the money, but they kept directing us from one desk to the other. We were frustrated and we had to leave the hospital,” he added.
When contacted, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Jide Idris, did not pick his call. A text message sent to his phone had also yet to be replied to as of the time of filing this report.

I have so many reasons why you should date a shy or introverted girl..Although I'm not an extrovert but I've spent time observing these interestingly captivating set of ladies and I felt there are some interesting facts reasons why you should date them..,you never know you might just get to like them...Enjoy wink

1.)They are not talkative or arrogant

shy girls are not talkative or arrogant rather they are cool headed people who are reserved and this is a quality that makes them so adorable that sometimes you can't help but wonder unlike the extrovert girls who are talkative and always seek for attention, the Nigerian man would term it as 'notice me'

2.) it's easy to make them blush

shy girls have the tendency to blush easily with the slightest of compliments. Just compliment them about their looks and appearance and you will see the magic of their blush. That really melts my heart a lot unlike the confident or rash girls who will only say thank you. That's if they even say it at all, try dating a shy girl you'll love em wink

3.) shy girls won't cheat on you

A shy girl can't cheat on you,of course not. They don't cheat on their guy,shy girls would never stoop so low to having a guy behind you. Unlike the confident and extrovert girls who want to exploit anything they see, money, fame etc but keep the emphasis on money.

4.) They are beautiful

yeah shy girls are beautiful and don't give a damn about it, they're so adorable when after lectures you see them in the class staring into space and engulfed in their thoughts but the reverse is the case for confident and extrovert girls, most of them are ugly but when they paint their face and look like black albinos you see them flaunting themselves everywhere seeking for notice (ifa hear )an ugly girl remains an ugly girl.

5.) They are good listeners

shy and introvert girls are just good for one thing, they are extremely good listeners..Never will they counter you in any discussion or disrupt the flow of the discussion, unlike extrovert girls who will keep shouting to the extent that other people will hear your discussion but shy girls, you can count on them on giving you all ears smiley

6.) They don't party nor drink

shy girls don't party nor drink, they being introvert wouldn't do have such bad manners unlike some extrovert girls who would always know the latest parties on campus and tell you the kinds of expensive wines they have drank and also tell you the number of guys they have had sex with from Bomboy to azninu from azinu to kponkius just name it...

7.) Shy and introvert girls are very educated and intelligent

this is true shy girls are very intelligent, they being intelligent leaves them with no time for social activities. Date a shy girl today and you'll be glad you did wink

feel free to add yours smiley

where to find a shy girl

1.) During church service

These awesome set of people are very easy to find during service, they always sit at the back and rarely dance unlike the extroverts that would even go the awkward length of dancing shoki and skelewu (what?.in the church....smh)a shy girl would never do this

2.) in class at the back seat

shy girls usually stay at the back seat of any class, alone in their thoughts now this is the best time to approach them, they're very friendly smiley, while the extrovert ones will always sit in front were they can be noticed (Ifa hear),this is for those in the university or higher institute

how to know if a girl is shy or introvert

it's very easy to spot these sweet girls, they will always blush at everything you say another way is to monitor their movements they rarely go out and they bring their charming selves outside only at night, date a shy girl today and you'll be glad you did, I can testify to that wink

If you are a boring guy, sorry, your woman
might end up in the arms of that silly, funny
dude...just because he is funny. Read
reasons from below..

Why is it when girls are asked what qualities
they look for in a guy, most say a sense of
humor?

There’s just something about a guy who
makes you giggle like a little schoolgirl, and
there’s a reason Seth Rogen never fails to
steal our hearts in every movie.

Funny guys have a charm and electricity
about them that is hard to deny. Below are
the real reasons why the silly man will
always have you hooked:

He never fails to entertain you

Dating a guy with a good sense of humor
never gets boring. He is spontaneous and will
pull almost any stunt for a laugh. It makes
things exciting because you have to be quick
to keep up with him.
To be funny, a guy must be witty
and creative: plus and plus!
If you ask any writer what the most difficult
genre to write for is, he or she will most likely
say comedy. Sure, anyone can tell a good ol’
fashion fart joke, but it takes a certain type
of a genius to nail a punchline that will make
you laugh until your belly hurts.
To be on his game, he must be quick on his
feet and original. If your guy is truly funny,
he probably has a vast knowledge of peculiar
facts and an arsenal of voices to share them
in.

He knows how to handle social
situations

Nothing eases up an awkward moment better
than a good-hearted joke. He has made
enough inappropriate wisecracks to know
when the time is right to tease and when it is
better to keep his mouth shut.
You no longer have to cringe about leaving
your guy in a room alone with others. Part of
being funny is knowing where everyone else
is coming from. Building off others, he can
find something in common that they can all
chat or even chuckle about.

He is naturally very observant

How is he going to poke fun at your “Hunger
Games” poster unless he’s taken a moment
to observe your room?
The reason comedians are so good at what
they do is attributed to their keen sense of
what’s going on around them and ability to
find the absurdness in it. A good way to one-
up his witty remarks is to thank him for
noticing.

He makes you a better person

You stressed out too much before he entered
the picture; now he teaches you to laugh at
life and yourself.
Your safety wall melts away when he is
around, and when he makes a fool out of
himself, you feel more comfortable to do the
same. What is a sweeter love when you can
both truly be yourself around each other?

He gets along with your friends

He goes out of his way to impress your
friends and show them a good time. He feels
the need to perform and does not mind
taking the stage.
Your friends like him because he is the life of
the party. Whether it’s wacky impressions or
dry sarcasm, they find him a riot and like
seeing you so smitten.

He doesn’t feed into drama

Goofy guys usually do not let their temper
get the best of them. He tends not to take
life too seriously or any dramatic person for
that matter.
If there is another funny friend in the group,
he sees it as a faceoff. They are more likely
to exchange punchlines instead of punches,
making it even more fun for everyone else.

He radiates confidence
It takes a secure guy to poke fun at himself
for your amusement. Even if he does not act
super confident in front of everyone, it is
obvious when you two are together.
Maybe it is something about having you on
his arm, but anytime you are together, there
is a chip on his shoulder that you find
charming, yet playfully challenging. Just
keep it light and avoid a low blow because
underneath every funny guy is an emotional
one.

Pranksters are secretly sensitive

Let’s face it: The class clown was never the
smartest guy in class or the biggest jock in
high school. He made others laugh to get by
and was easily able to hide his emotions
behind his jokes.
Unlike so many guys who seem one-
dimensional, funny guys have a beautiful
complex to them. When they are comfortable
enough to reveal their sensitive side to us, it
is a special and intimate feeling.

Most importantly, he never fails to
bring a smile to your face

It is impossible to stay upset for long with
his cute little smirk in front of you. He knows
exactly how to make you laugh through tears,
and it’s both a blessing and a curse.
If you laugh at all his funny antics, you
probably have a crush. If you also laugh at
his failed one-liners, you, my friend, are
already in love.

Nigeria's militant Islamists have carried out a second attack on the key north-eastern town of Baga, an official has told the BBC.

Boko Haram fighters burnt down almost the entire town on Wednesday, after over-running a military base on Saturday, Musa Alhaji Bukar said.
Bodies lay strewn on Baga's streets, amid fears that some 2,000 people had been killed in the raids, he added.

Boko Haram launched a military campaign in 2009 to create an Islamic state.
It has taken control of many towns and villages in north-eastern Nigeria state in the last year.
The conflict has displaced at least 1.5 million people, while more than 2,000 were killed last year.

Abandoned

On Monday, lawmaker Maina Maaji Lawan said Boko Haram controlled 70% of Borno state, which is worst-affected by the insurgency.
Mr Bukar, a senior government official in the area, said that fleeing residents told him that the town, which had a population of about 10,000, was now "virtually non-existent".
"It has been burnt down," he said.

Government troops were overpowered during Saturday's raid on Baga

The group has torched many towns and villages in northern Nigeria
Those who fled reported that they had been unable to bury the dead, and corpses littered the town's streets, he said.
Boko Haram was effectively in control of Baga and 16 neighbouring towns, Mr Bukar said.
Government troops abandoned the military base in Baga on Saturday, when the militants launched an assault.

It hosts the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), made up of troops from Nigeria, Chad and Niger, although the BBC understands there were only Nigerian soldiers there at the time of the attack.

Set up in 1998 to fight trans-border crime in the Lake Chad region, the force more recently took on Boko Haram.
Thousands have fled Baga - many to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, and others to Chad.
A large number reportedly drown as they crossed Lake Chad following Saturday's raid.
Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in Borno and two neighbouring states in 2013, vowing to defeat the militants.
However, Boko Haram has stepped up attacks since then, and there are fears that many people in the area will not be able to vote in next month's general elections because of the conflict.

You want to be able to tell if a woman is sexually attracted to you so that you know when to make your move on her. If you could just find some signs that a woman wanted you that way – it would change everything for you as far as your dating and your sex life goes. However, as most guys can attest to, it’s not always easy to figure out when a woman is clearly showing you signs that she is feeling very attracted to you sexually. What are some body language signs that you can look out for so that you DO know when a woman wants you that way?

Here are a few body language signs to look out for if you want to know how to tell if a woman is sexually attracted to you:

1. She can’t keep her eyes off of you.

If you see that she is making eye contact with you and that eye contact seems to linger a little bit too long, then you can usually take that as being a very good sign that she might feel sexually attracted to you. The more flirtatious that eye contact is, the better. You don’t want to think that EVERY woman who makes any eye contact with you wants you like that, but you can assume that if you are getting serious stares from a woman that seem to be very flirty, that she probably does feel sexually attracted to you.

2. She is trying really hard to get closer to you physically.

The more effort she seems to be putting in trying to get next to you, the more likely it is that she is sexually attracted to you. That’s not always the case, but most of the time it is. For example, if you are getting serious eye contact from a woman in a club and she is getting closer and closer to you, that is probably a GOOD time for you to try to take things to the next level.

3. She is touching you physically.

If she escalates to the point where she is touching you physically, that is also a pretty good sign that she is sexually attracted to you. You don’t want to get it wrong, though, not every time a woman touches you is going to be a clear sign that she wants you sexually. However, when it comes after the flirting has already started and it happens to be an intimate kind of physical touch, that should usually be taken as a sign that she probably DOES feel sexually attracted to you.
